  • Patent number: 7261614
Abstract: A stunt ramp for a wheeled toy vehicle to travel upon and provide from approximately 5 degrees to 180 degrees lift from the surface by the ramp structure. The ramp is made of two end pieces connected to each other by cross braces. The end pieces have grooves adapted to have a ramp sheet slid within the grooves. The end pieces are curved so that when the flexible ramp sheet is adjustably slid into the grooves the ramp sheet will curve as well.

  • Publication number: 20060289317
Abstract: A toy wheel display case is described. The display case includes a housing having side walls, a back wall, and a detachably attachable front wall. At least one of the walls is formed of a clear material, thereby allowing a user to see through the wall and into an interior of the display case. A protrusion is centrally positioned on the back wall and extends into the housing. The protrusion is configured to allow for placement of a toy wheel, whereby a user may position the toy wheel onto the protrusion and encase the toy wheel within the housing. When placed upon the protrusion, the entire weight of the toy wheel is supported by the protrusion with no point of the wheel's tire touching the housing.

  • Publication number: 20060211333
Abstract: Described is a toy vehicle with a launcher for connecting with and launching the toy vehicle. The toy vehicle includes a vehicle housing having a wheel opening in the housing for placement of a detachably attachable wheel and a vehicle strip opening for placement of a strip. A gear system is attached with the housing. The gear system includes gear teeth for engaging at least a part of the gear system with the strip. A rotating end is connected with the gear system for placement of a detachably attachable wheel. When the wheel is affixed with the rotating end, and when the strip is inserted into the vehicle strip opening and engaged with the gear teeth, a user may pull the strip and thereby cause the gear system to rotate the wheel so that the wheel spins and forces the vehicle to speed away from the launcher.

  • Publication number: 20060128268
Abstract: A dual-wheel remotely controlled (RC) skateboard with two independently-controlled detachably attachable wheels is described. The RC skateboard comprises a body member having a right wheel and left wheel rotationally mounted proximate the body member. Each of the right and left wheels are drivably coupled with their own motors, such that each of the right and left wheels are independently controlled. Additionally, a quick release apparatus is included to provide for quick release of the wheels. Through use of the quick release apparatus, the wheels are interchangeable wheels and may be easily replaced with other interchangeable wheels. Furthermore, a skateboard deck is attached with the body member such that when the wheels are engaged, the skateboard deck is forced against a supporting surface, thereby preventing the body member from continuously spinning in place. Additionally, the detachably attachable wheels are formed to be used with devices other than a remotely controlled skateboard.

  • Publication number: 20060121820
Abstract: A toy comprises a housing connected with a launcher to rotate and aerially launch a propeller in a launch direction. A direction controller is included to control the launch direction. The launcher is connected with a launcher rotating system, which imparts a rotary movement to the launcher. After accelerating the object, the object is aerially launched from the launcher. The toy is also configured to aerially launch multiple objects simultaneously.

  • Publication number: 20060099880
Abstract: A toy comprises a housing connected with a launcher to rotate and launch an object. The housing includes an arm attachment mechanism for attaching with a user's arm. The launcher comprises a driving element to form a drive connection with a receiving element on the object. The launcher is connected with a launcher rotating system, which imparts a rotary movement to the launcher. When the launcher ceases to accelerate the object, the receiving element disengages from the drive connection and launches the object.

  • Publication number: 20060046610
Abstract: A toy comprises a housing connected with a launcher to rotate and launch an object. The launcher comprises a driving element to form a drive connection with a receiving element on the object. The launcher is connected with a launcher rotating system, which imparts a rotary movement to the launcher. When the launcher ceases to accelerate the object, the receiving element disengages from the drive connection and launches the object. In one aspect, the launcher rotating system is a gear train capable of being rotated by a gear rack pulled by a user. The launcher is configured to release the object in only one direction, and a stopper prevents the launcher rotating system from rotating the object in an undesirable direction. The toy is also configured to launch multiple objects simultaneously or load multiple objects to launch in sequence.

  • Publication number: 20060046607
Abstract: A station for inflating an inflatable toy tire is described. The station includes a base with an air pump attached with the base. An air nozzle attachment is attached with the base for attaching with an air nozzle on an inflatable toy tire. An air line is included that connects the air pump with the air nozzle attachment. An inflatable toy tire is described that is formed to be attached with the air nozzle. Using the station, a user may attach the inflatable toy tire with the air nozzle attachment and pump the air pump to inflate the inflatable toy tire. Additionally, the inflatable toy tire is formed to be used with devices other than the station, such as a launcher.

  • Publication number: 20060042670
Abstract: A toy is presented for washing an object by rotating the object in a chamber of liquid. The toy comprises a chamber partially filled with liquid and includes a mount to rotationally fix an object into the chamber. The mount includes a driving element to drivingly connect with a receiving element on the object to form a driving connection. An object rotating system then imparts a rotary motion to the mount to rotate the object within the chamber of water so as to wash the object. The object rotating system is a gear and axle drivingly connected with a gear rack. The gear rack is pulled by a user to impart a rotary motion to the gear and axle, which then rotates the mount and thus the object. In another embodiment, the object rotating system is a gear and axle drivingly connected with a motor.

  • Patent number: 6224455
Abstract: A toy figure includes a head, torso, arms and legs conforming generally to a plush figure. The head defines a mouth and the arms are pivotally secured to the torso. The arms each support a hand between which a simulated harmonica is secured. The arms and simulated harmonica are pivotable between and arms lowered position to an intermediate arms forward position and to an arms raised position. In the arms raised position, the simulated harmonica is placed against the mouth providing a harmonica play posture. A sound and control circuit within the torso of the toy figure respond to arm position to provide silence in the arms lowered position, speech or singing in the arms forward position, and harmonica music in the arms raised position. A light emitting diode is supported within the transparent body of the simulated harmonica and is caused to flash by the sound and control circuit when the arms are raised to the harmonica play posture.
