Abstract: An electrical crimp ferrule includes a circumferential center portion, a first circumferential flank connected to the center portion, and a second circumferential flank connected to the center portion. The circumferential center portion integrally connects the first and second circumferential flanks. At least one crimp diameter compensation element extends from at least one of the first circumferential flank or the second circumferential flank and is adapted to engage with an electrical cable having a non-circular cross section in a crimped state of the ferrule.
