  • Patent number: 5036249
Abstract: An electroluminescent lamp panel which includes transparent and base electrodes with dielectric and phosphorescent layers therebetween and an insulation layer behind the base layer. A moisture barrier layer, such as of aluminum foil, is provided on the back of the panel behind the insulation layer. The photophorescent layer includes phosphor particles having etched surfaces in an active resin having scavenging properties.

  • Patent number: 4970624
Abstract: An electronic device which includes a circuit sheet having a conductive path thereon. An adhesive is deposited on the conductive path, the adhesive including a nonconductive base incorporating randomly spaced conductive particles. A circuit component is forced through the adhesive, the conductive path and the circuit sheet carrying a portion of the adhesive therewith between the circuit component and the conductive path. The carried portion of the adhesive is compressed for establishing contact between the conductive particles and thereby conductivity between the circuit component and the conductive path leaving the adhesive other than that portion in a nonconductive state.

  • Patent number: 4267837
Abstract: This invention is directed to apparatus and a method for monitoring the collection of blood from a donor so as to minimize trauma to the blood so collected. The system closely monitors the rate of collection of blood and regulates the rate of mixing of anticoagulant therewith so as to maintain a substantially constant ratio of anticoagulant to blood throughout the collection process. The system also includes built-in warning devices for indicating when the collection process is not proceeding according to a prescribed pattern.
