  • Publication number: 20230294028
Abstract: Disclosed is an apparatus and method for enhanced filtration. The apparatus utilizes a series of oppositely charged and opposing grids to condition incoming particles, promote conglomeration, and increase filtration efficiency. A filter media is positioned between two of the opposing grids. The grids opposing the media create an electrical field that polarizes the filter media and further increases filtration efficiencies. Still yet additional filtration efficiencies are realized by coating the filter media with a conductive polymer. The conductive polymer increases the associated dielectric constant to yield additional filtration efficiencies.

  • Publication number: 20220062918
Abstract: Disclosed is an apparatus for enhancing filtration. Enhanced filtration is promoted via the eccentric movement of charged particles within a defined space. This eccentric movement causes the charged particles to collide and conglomerate. The conglomeration, in turn, improves the efficiency of downstream filer media.

  • Publication number: 20070137479
Abstract: Disclosed is a filtration enhancement apparatus and an associated method. The apparatus includes a number of electromagnetic grids that are placed in series. The first grid conditions ambient particles to generate particles with both a positive and a negative charge. These charged particles are then delivered to a second and third grid wherein a low, medium, and/or high frequency alternating current is employed to force the positive and negative charged particles to collide and conglomerate with one another. The conglomerated particles are then sent into the ambient environment for subsequent filtration.

  • Patent number: 4180884
Abstract: Fingernail cleaning apparatus in which a disc-shaped rotary brush is utilized in combination with cleaning liquid to obtain effective cleaning action for the fingernails. The rotary brush is mounted rotatably inside a housing, and a mouth of the housing is closed by a guide assembly which forms entrances for only the fingers to be received in the housing. Liquid is received in the housing. The guide assembly includes sealing structure for sealing around the fingers to prevent escape of liquid. The rotary brush is driven by a motor.
