    Abstract: In a shared users mailboxing system adapted to receive and stack plural print jobs of plural sheets for plural different recipients in plural mailbox bins, having a preset maximum desired sheet stacking level, with a sheet distribution system controlled by a control system for automatically variably stacking print jobs into different mailbox bins electronically assignable to different recipients, a dual mode bin stacking level indicator system for indicating to the control system when the height of the stack in a bin has reached a preset level. The control system provides a selection between the exclusive assignment of only one recipient to mailbox bins and the shared assignment of plural recipients to mailbox bins.

    Abstract: A printing apparatus includes a copy sheet skew adjustment device. The copy sheet adjustment device is a pivotable baffle positioned between transfer and copy sheet registration stations of the printer and hinged at one end. At the other end, the baffle is connected to a screw and a nut such that when the nut is rotated it pivots the baffle further either into or out of the path of the copy sheets. This shortens or lengthens the distance the copy sheets have to travel to the transfer station and in doing so skews the copy sheets to the proper alignment.

    Abstract: In a sheet handling system with an array of multiple individual sheet stacking bins and a sheet feeding system for feeding sheets from a sheet feeding output nip thereof into selected bins, for stacking of the sheets into the selected the bins, with relative movement between the sheet feeding system and the multiple individual sheet stacking bins; an automatic nip extending system is provided for automatically moving the sheet feeding output nip out into an individual bin for improved sheet control for the feeding of sheets into the bin, and an automatic nip retracting system for automatically moving the sheet feeding output nip out of the bins for unobstructed relative movement between the sheet feeding system and the sheet stacking bins, in coordination with the relative movement between the sheet feeding system and the multiple individual sheet stacking bins. The nip extending system preferably includes a repositionable extended loop sheet feeding belt.
