  • Patent number: 11969201
Abstract: A controller for an electrosurgical generator includes an RF inverter, a signal processor, a software compensator, a hardware compensator, and an RF inverter controller. The RF inverter generates an electrosurgical waveform and the signal processor outputs a measured value of at least one of a voltage, a current, or power of the electrosurgical waveform. The software compensator generates a desired value for at least one of the voltage, the current, or the power of the electrosurgical waveform, and the hardware compensator generates a phase shift based on the measured value and the desired value. The RF inverter controller generates a pulse-width modulation (PWM) signal based on the phase shift to control the RF inverter.

  • Patent number: 7415221
Abstract: Embodiments herein comprise registrations module(s) positioned between image output terminal(s), feeder module(s), and/or finisher module(s). Each registration module comprises a casing having first mounting points that correspond to second mounting points on an adjacent module. The first mounting points and the second mounting points allow the registration module to be repeatedly connected to and disconnected from an adjacent module. Each registration module also includes sensors within the casing, a controller operatively connected to the sensors, and sheet feeders. The sensors determine alignment characteristics of media passing through the module and the controller is adapted to correct the alignment characteristics of the media through unequal rotation of the sheet feeders, if the alignment characteristics deviate from a predetermined standard.

  • Publication number: 20070235925
Abstract: A printing apparatus capable of duplex imaging that maintains the lead edge of a sheet constant, is disclosed. The printing apparatus includes a first transport path to route a sheet along a processing direction, an edge position detector to detect a lead edge of the sheet, a marking device that prints on a first side of the sheet, a second transport path to receive the sheet from the marking device, and an inverter mechanism that receives the sheet from the second transport path and inverts the sheet along a cross-processing direction that is perpendicular to the processing direction. The printing apparatus also includes a third transport path that receives the inverted sheet and routes the inverted sheet back to the first transport path. With this configuration, upon being routed back to the first transport path, the edge position detector detects the same lead edge of the sheet as previously detected and the marking device prints on a second side of the sheet.

  • Publication number: 20050028750
Abstract: An apparatus for supplying food and water to animals having a feeding component with an upper reservoir for receiving food therein, a watering component with a lower reservoir for receiving water therein and a water control system having a fluid level regulator to maintain the level of water in the lower reservoir. The upper reservoir is removably supported above the lower reservoir by a support mechanism interconnecting the feeding and watering components. In one configuration, the support mechanism is a post attached to the bottom of the upper reservoir sized and configured to be received in a post connector at the bottom of the lower reservoir. The fluid level regulator can comprise a float level system having a fluid valve connected to float by an actuating arm. A hose can be connected to a connector at an inlet on one of the lower reservoir's sidewalls.

  • Patent number: 4507794
Abstract: A system for digital transmission includes an active pulse forming network to convert a digital data signal into a Manchester Coded PSK format. A low pass filter network is provided to transform the Manchester Coded signal for transmission over a bandlimited wireline channel. The receiver includes a low pass filter and a bandpass filter that combine to form an overall bandpass filter response for receiving the output of the wireline channel. The transmitter low pass filter and the receiver bandpass filter combine to transform the Manchester Coded PSK data signal into a quasi-raised cosine signal that has the digital data signal coded therein. A timing recovery circuit is included that extracts a timing signal from the quasi-raised cosine signal to provide a coherent timing signal such that the quasi-raised cosine signal can be sampled and the digital data signal reconstructed.
