Abstract: Innately-transparent, polymethylmethacrylate polyblends, and transparent shaped articles therefrom fabricated, are comprised with components therein of:(a) polymethylmethacrylate; and(b) at least one copolymer of styrene (and/or equivalent vinyl aromatic monomers) with one or more of certain vinyl acids; plus and optionally or as an alternative;(c) at least one mass-made acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene or acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene-type resin in addition to or in replacement of and substitution for said component (b).

Abstract: Excellently-propertied, physical and intimately-admixed blends of polymers (i.e., "polyblends") comprise in intimate admixtures (A) large particle size, mass-made acrylonitrile/butadiene/styrene (i.e., "ABS")-type resins; and (B) certain grafted and/or interpolymerized rubber concentrates (i.e., "MMA") or MMA copolymers with certain other acrylic and/or vinyl monomers onto predominantly polybutadiene (i.e., "PBD") elastomeric substrate(s).

Abstract: Nicely compatibilized polymer blends (i.e., "polyblends") exhibiting attendant physical properties which are generally improved over those intrinsically coincident with the individual polymeric ingredients therein are comprised, as fundamental Components therefor, of:(A) a substantial and effectively compatibilizing quantity of a graft or block inter- or copolymer of methyl methacrylate (i.e., "MMA") and/or equivalent acrylate monomer(s) on or with a synthetic or natural rubber elastomer (i.e., "EL") substrate as a basic component of the polyblend which is referred to hereinafter as an MMA-grafted rubber concentrate or, by way of simplified acronymical definition of same, a "GRC(MMA)" which is constitutionally substantially if not entirely free of any non-interpolymerized polymethylmethacrylate (i.e.
