    Abstract: A high speed embossing and adhesive printing process using a first and second embossing rolls having complementary embossing pattern disposed thereon. A web of sheet material is placed in contact with an adhesive applied to the first embossing roll. The adhesive forms an adhesive pattern on the web of sheet material in register with the first embossing pattern of the first embossing roll. The web of sheet material is then passed between the first and second embossing rolls which emboss the web with the complementary embossing pattern.
