  • Publication number: 20140264434
Abstract: In a general aspect, an apparatus can include an insulated-gate bipolar transistor (IGBT) device disposed in a semiconductor region. The apparatus can further include a plurality of clamping diodes. The plurality of clamping diodes can be coupled in series between a collector terminal of the IGBT device and a gate terminal of the IGBT device. The apparatus can also include a gate pad disposed over at least a portion of the plurality of clamping diodes. The at least a portion of the plurality of clamping diodes can be configured, during operation of the apparatus, to have a voltage of at least 120 V applied across them.

  • Publication number: 20060234583
Abstract: An article of manufacture for a fiber optic cloth. This cloth is made of fiber optics. Its vary durable and will not wear if used for clothing. If the outer layers of the fiber are removed the fiber will luminate any color from a light source. This light source could be carried in your back pocket to change the color of your pants or shirt at anytime. This fabric will feel cooler because of the fiber lets air through. Its as flexible as any other fabric and will have the feel of silk. This fabric is vary soft and durable and will wear vary well. This fabric never needs ironing and can be placed in a dryer to dry. It will repel water and will not absorb liquids it is vary flexable and resist wrinkles. It also lets air move through it keeping the person cooler.

  • Patent number: 6436476
Abstract: A process for making a composite article comprising providing a coating composition comprising a silane, optional pH modifying agent, and optional lubricant, wherein the silane is compatible with one or more ROMP catalysts used to initiate ring opening metathesis polymerization of the cycloolefin resins; coating fibers with the coating composition; contacting the coated fiber with an uncured cycloolefin resin catalyzed using one or more ROMP catalysts used to form a resin and reinforcing fiber material mixture; and curing the resin and reinforcing fiber material mixture to form the composite article.
