    Abstract: A frame carries a tubular socket which receives the handle of a fishing rod. Camming means secure the handle within the socket. The socket is retained in a vertical position by a detent and pivotal therefrom to the inclined position against a stop. Mounting means is provided for securing the device to a boat or other selected surface.
