  • Patent number: 11996190
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to aggregating and sharing wellness data. The wellness data can be received by a user device from any number of sensors external or internal to the user device, from a user manually entering the wellness data, or from other users or entities. The user device can securely store the wellness data on the user device and transmit the wellness data to be stored on a remote database. A user of the device can share some or all of the wellness data with friends, relatives, caregivers, healthcare providers, or the like. The user device can further display a user's wellness data in an aggregated view of different types of wellness data. Wellness data of other users can also be viewed if authorizations from those users have been received.

  • Patent number: 5785850
Abstract: A device for filtering fluids which is cleanable and re-usable is described. The device includes a cylindrical canister, a cylindrical lid and a filter cartridge. The device is adapted to be disposed in a fluid flow circuit, filtering particulate from the fluid circulating therein. The filter cartridge is quickly removed, cleaned and reused. The fluid enters and exits the device from the top end through fluid inlets and an outlet extending through the lid perpendicular to the lids upper planar surface, thereby reducing the amount of space required to mount the device. The fluid inlets include sloping fins that direct fluids in the filtering chamber in a spiraling action, thereby increasing the effectiveness of the filter.

  • Patent number: 5630956
Abstract: A device for filtering and refining oil being cycled through an engine includes a container, a cover having an evaporator plate incorporated therein, and a filter cartridge. The evaporator plate is dimensioned to conform to a predetermined inner shape of the container to sealably fit therein inhibiting the purified oil to cycle back through the filter. The configuration is such that a predetermined amount of oil is directed into the device and first passes through the filter cartridge and then passes over the evaporator plate. The contaminants evaporated from the oil pass through a vent in the cover. The filtered and refined oil is then directed back into the engine.

  • Patent number: 5521384
Abstract: A flow cell for use in optical measuring systems particularly suited for use with liquid food products is provided. The flow cell is manufactured from a single unitary piece of synthetic resin which is transparent to light in the near infrared range. Because the flow cell is constructed from a single piece, the interior surface is continuous and the presence of undesirable cracks or crevices is avoided.

  • Patent number: 4975625
Abstract: An electrodeless lamp which couples strong microwave fields to a very small bulb of diameter about 1/2' or smaller. The lamp is operated in a mode which is independent of the height of the cavity and which provides electric field lines parallel to such height. The height of the cavity is substantially reduced as compared with prior lamps to provide strong coupling of the electric field to the bulb.
