  • Patent number: 4765622
Abstract: A hockey game comprising a board having a playing surface and longitudinal and transverse boundary side walls. Each of the transverse side walls has a pair of spaced slots through which an object such as a puck or ball can pass to score a goal. A playing stick is provided for each player for striking the object to propel the object on the playing surface, the playing stick being dimensioned to permit the player to stand adjacent the board and swing the stick from above the playing surface to strike the object. A barrier is removably insertable in the longitudinal side walls for extending transversely across the board midway of the length of the board, the barrier being provided with an aperture for allowing passage of the object therethrough.

  • Patent number: 4289136
Abstract: A method for effecting percutaneous pain alleviation in which right-angled sawtooth shaped electrical pulses are produced at electrodes for percutaneous application to bodily areas experiencing pain. One of the electrodes is located at the site of the pain while the other electrode is moved to different sites of the region of the pain. At the same time the amplitude of the electrical signals is measured for each site until a maximum amplitude site is located. Thereafter, an electrode is continuously positioned at the located site for a given period of time for continuous application of the electrical pulses which may be selectively varied in amplitude in the range of zero to about 100 volts peak-to-peak and the output current controlled from 1 MA to 40 MA, while the pulse repetition frequency may be selectively varied in the range of about 10 HZ to 100 HZ.

  • Patent number: 4117965
Abstract: A self-balancing tray for carrying glasses, cups, canapes consists of a disc supported by a frame to which a holder is releasably attached. A grip is fastened to the holder by a freely board-able thread or chain at a point coaxial with the center of the disc thereby causing the tray to assume a horizontal position irrespective of motions applied to the grip when the tray is carried.

  • Patent number: 3990148
Abstract: There is disclosed a device for cutting a fishing line by pulling the same sharply against cutting edges on the device. The device also provides a flap including an opening for hooking a fish hook tied to the line thereby preventing flapping of the line when the rod is not in use.
