  • Patent number: 11932979
Abstract: A laundry treating appliance for treating laundry items according to an automatic cycle of operation can include a cabinet defining an interior and having an access opening providing access to the interior. A tub can be located within the interior and can at least partially define a liquid chamber. A drum is rotatably mounted within the liquid chamber and at least partially defines a treating chamber. A clothes mover is located within the treating chamber and rotatable about a vertical axis. The clothes mover can include a base and a barrel.

  • Patent number: 10227204
Abstract: A capstan includes a lift motor, a flexible lifting member, and a tether assembly. The lift motor is operatively connected to a shaft. The flexible lifting member includes a first end and a second end. The first end is connected to the shaft. The flexible lifting member connects a lift assembly to the lift motor via the shaft. The tether assembly includes a switch arranged between a portion of the flexible lifting member and a portion of the capstan. The second end is connected to the tether assembly. The switch acts as a safety in case of a broken flexible lifting member and allows for an automated unloading cycle.

  • Patent number: 4174355
Abstract: Conjugated diolefins contaminated with relatively high levels of acetylenic impurities in a hydrocarbon feedstream are purified by a cyclic, vapor phase, predominantly catalytic cracking process which selectively removes alpha-cetylenes in a single pass. A feedstream containing about equal weights of isoprene and mixed monoolefins and alkanes contaminated with alpha-acetylenes including isopropenyl acetylene inter alia, up to about 5.0 percent by weight (% by wt) of the feedstream, and a larger amount of cyclopentadiene, is contacted in the vapor phase with a supported Group I B metal oxide catalyst in the absence of hydrogen, at a temperature in the range from about 300.degree. F. to about 360.degree. F. In this narrow temperature range, the loss of diolefin is less than 1% by weight. Essentially all the cyclopentadiene (CPD) is left unconverted.

  • Patent number: 4063989
Abstract: A magazine-type label feed mechanism for a two-table labeling machine is disclosed. Labels to be affixed to containers are loaded on and fed by primary and secondary feed mechanisms in such a manner that an operator can continuously replenish the supply of labels while the labeling machine is operating. Fluid drive means control the position of the label-feed tables and provide a relatively-constant feed pressure.
