Abstract: This invention is a product for identifying wine transferred into glasses from a wine bottle by using removable labels that are packaged along with the wine bottle's labels. The invention allows one to identify the wine once it is poured into a glass and/or distinguish among multiple wine glasses into which the same wine is poured. Several embodiments of the invention are particularly suited to the practice of wine tasting, where it is important to identify the wine poured into a glass as well as distinguish between the glasses of different tasters.

Abstract: This invention is a picture frame that is capable of framing a, picture in a manner suitable for hanging on a wall or standing on a table while also packaging a compact disc, digital video disc, memory card, or alternate media. Various embodiments are described that facilitate economical manufacture of the picture while allowing an elegant display of the picture. Further, these embodiments allow the user to easily switch between pictures in the frame and remove and replace the disc. Thus, a unique picture frame is disclosed that functions both to store and to display pictures while also serving as a package or receptacle for disc shaped and other media.

In another example, the closure provides a curved compartment for receiving a booklet wherein a closure for the compartment includes snap-fit members for attaching the compartment closure to other portions of the container lid. Abstract: A closure is provided for use with a drink container wherein the closure includes an inner member, having an opening formed therein for receiving a straw and having a peripheral portion for mounting to the drink container, and an outer member configured to be fitted to the inner member forming a compartment therebetween. The outer member also has an opening, with the opening of the outer member aligned with the opening of the inner member while the outer member is fitted to the inner member. The aligned openings permit penetration of a straw therethrough. The inner member is shaped to prevent any beverage from within the drink container from entering the compartment even while a straw penetrates the aligned openings of the inner and outer members.

Abstract: The apparatus described herein is a chain with a warning sign attached to it, that incorporates an audible alarm signal which is activated when a person moves the chain away from an egress that it is blocking, such as a supermarket check-out lane. The apparatus solves the problem of how to block a check-out lane so as to draw attention to any patron who is exiting the store by way of an unattended check-out lane, yet is a device that can be easily discarded from the egress, in the event of an emergency. The unique sign incorporates circuitry within. In the preferred embodiment, the sign is a sandwich with outer layers that have something appropriate printed on them, such as "ALARMED EXIT--For Emergency Use Only", and the inner, hidden portion contains an audible alarm, a battery, an arming switch and position sensitive contacts for detecting when an unauthorized person tampers with the barrier.
