  • Patent number: 6125023
Abstract: A circuit breaker receptacle is provided in which there is a circuit breaker to be used to protect a sub-circuit in an alternating current electrical circuit. A range plug is connected to the circuit breaker range processor to set an ampere value to be detected and interrupted by the circuit breaker. A variety of differently valued range plugs can be available so that the sub-circuit can be protected at various amperage values, thus permitting a plurality of individually protected sub-circuits to extend from a single main circuit. The sub-circuits will each be protected at a lower amperage value than the main circuit.

  • Patent number: 4998365
Abstract: A neon light display comprising seven segment modules of neon light tubes, and/or other segment configuration modules for special use. The neon light tubes comprise a serpentine configuration comprising a multi-row continuous tube. The serpentine configuration provides for improved visibility at night and at great distances. The modules are detachably secured to a housing which protects electric equipment such as transformers, inside a weather resistant structure. The modules are configured for efficient replacement, replacing an entire module rather than repairing individual segments in the field. The modules are screwed to a pair of rails and utilize high voltage plugs for electrical disconnection.

  • Patent number: 4649713
Abstract: A sensing and control device is provided for monitoring the build up of frost, ice and condensate on the cooling coils of refrigeration unit. The microwave unit is placed a fixed distance away from a cooling coil and provides an emitted wave and reflected wave. The reflected wave, and the resulting standing wave, shift in spacial phase which differs due to the accumulation of ice or frost and provides a voltage change which is observed by an electronic circuit to shut off the cooling unit while activating a defrost cycle or merely keeping the refrigeration shut off until the ice melts. The sensing and control unit is also used to sense the removal of ice and frost by heating of the defrost cycle and thus establish the termination of defrost cycle and restoration of refrigeration.
