  • Patent number: 11932979
Abstract: A laundry treating appliance for treating laundry items according to an automatic cycle of operation can include a cabinet defining an interior and having an access opening providing access to the interior. A tub can be located within the interior and can at least partially define a liquid chamber. A drum is rotatably mounted within the liquid chamber and at least partially defines a treating chamber. A clothes mover is located within the treating chamber and rotatable about a vertical axis. The clothes mover can include a base and a barrel.

  • Patent number: 10134017
Abstract: A system and method for performing a financial transaction by determining a master account number associated with one or more accounts that a user may access, providing data to generate a user interface displaying a list of the accounts and an indicator associated with a financial transaction, receiving indicator information associating the indicator with one or more of the accounts, receiving terms for the financial transaction, and performing the financial transaction. The list of accounts may be expanded to view account information.

  • Patent number: 9830562
Abstract: A system and method for mobile social networking within a target area are provided. The method provides for mobile social networking. The method includes receiving a social networking profile, and a target area. The social networking profile has at least one user preference. The method also includes broadcasting the social networking profile to one or more members of the social network within the target area. The method further includes searching within the target area for the one or more members having a preference that is the same or similar to the at least one user preference. The method additionally includes enabling contact with the one or more members having the same or similar at least one user preference.

  • Publication number: 20170132183
Abstract: Methods, systems, and products simplify widgets for graphical mashups, such as digital dashboards and other user interfaces. When a software widget is a component of a graphical mashup, the widget is completely defined using a single file. The single file specifies both source data and presentation of the source data. Because the widget is completely defined by the single file, the single file allows faster processing of the widget.

  • Publication number: 20040180048
Abstract: The retinal degeneration (rd1) mutant mouse exhibits rapid rod photoreceptor degeneration caused by a mutation in the rod photoreceptor-specific gene cGMP phosphodiesterase &bgr; (PDE). One intriguing aspect of the rd1 phenotype is a secondary wave of cone photoreceptor death that follows loss of rods. In this study, we investigated gene expression changes associated with the progression of photoreceptor degeneration in rd1 mice using a custom retina microarray. The microarray contains 5,376 DNA fragments that correspond to mouse genes known or postulated to be involved in normal retinal function, development, or disease. Gene expression in rd1 retina was compared with age-matched wild-type controls at three time-points corresponding to critical stages in retina degeneration: peak of rod degeneration, early in cone degeneration and during cone degeneration.

  • Publication number: 20040086511
Abstract: Neuronal cell death, as modeled by removal of serum or NGF from growth medium, is characterized by many changes in gene expression. Gene expression was compared before and after withdrawal of serum or NGF. These results provide clues to underlying molecular processes occurring during neuronal and photoreceptor degeneration, and provide direction for future cell-based studies.

  • Publication number: 20040081652
Abstract: The optic nerve axotomy model in mouse exhibits rapid changes in gene expression. Genes identified by microarray analysis as differentially expressed or modulated in this model, can be used diagnostically, therapeutically, and in drug discovery. These results provide clues to underlying molecular processes occurring during optic nerve degeneration, and provide direction for future cell-based studies.
