  • Publication number: 20170080586
Abstract: A rotary cutter apparatus uses an improved geometrical arrangement of parts to optimize cutter speed versus evenness and straightness of cut, increase operating life and quietness of operation, and reduce dust formation and energy consumption.
    Type: Application
    Filed: June 9, 2015
    Publication date: March 23, 2017
    Inventor: Donald Kenneth Bunnell
  • Publication number: 20160345787
Abstract: A touch-free sheet product dispenser uses a single proximity sensor and allows a user's single hand motion to dispense and cut the sheet product. Embodiments allow the user to dispense and adjust any length of material before cutting.

  • Patent number: 6994408
Abstract: A hands-free paper product dispenser has two separate IR emitter and sensor circuits, one to feed paper product through the dispenser and the other to cut it, each interlocked to prevent one from running while the other is in operation. The length of paper dispensed is under complete control of the user. Paper is clamped above and below the cut to assure a clean cut, clamped gently to avoid tearing by wet hands, and released completely after product is taken from the machine to avoid sticking of product to machine surfaces. Dynamic electric braking is used in the circuitry to reduce noise and impact wear on dispenser parts.
