  • Publication number: 20190273965
Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, receiving a request for recording a real-time media presentation of a live event accessible by way of a direct broadcast satellite service, wherein the request is associated with equipment of a subscriber of the direct broadcast satellite service. A source of the real-time media presentation is identified and monitored to determine whether the live event has ended. A termination is facilitated of the recording of the real-time media presentation of the live event by the equipment of the subscriber responsive to the determined end of the real-time media presentation of the live event. Other embodiments are disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20190163929
Abstract: Examples of multi-persona account management in client devices are described. In one example, a client device can host a personal workspace, such as for personal data and applications of a user of the client device, along with a separate alternate persona workspace for work-related data and applications of the user. The client device interfaces with a management computing environment to enroll in device management services and establish an alternate persona workspace on the client device. The client device receives a token for the alternate persona workspace from the management computing environment, creates the alternate persona workspace, and installs an interface service in the alternate persona workspace. The client device also associates an alternate persona account with the alternate persona workspace using the token and returns a service identifier to the management computing environment.

  • Publication number: 20190116654
Abstract: The present invention relates to an apparatus for generating X-rays. It is described to produce (210) with a power supply (40) at least two voltages between at least one cathode (20) and an anode (30), wherein the at least two voltages comprises a first voltage and a second voltage. The at least one cathode is positioned relative to the anode. Electrons are emitted (220) from the at least one cathode. Electrons emitted from the at least one cathode are interacted (230) with the anode with energies corresponding to the at least two voltages. X-rays are generated (230) from the anode, wherein the electrons interact with the anode to generate the X-rays. First X-rays are generated when the power supply produces the first voltage and second X-rays are generated when the power supply produces the second voltage. The power supply is controlled (250), such that a ratio between the first X-rays and the second X-rays is controllable.

  • Publication number: 20180270939
Abstract: The present invention relates to a device (34) and a method (70) for determining a status of an X-ray tube (10) of an X-ray system (36). Due to ageing and/or wear of the X-ray tube, the spectrum of the X-ray radiation (30) provided by the X-ray tube may change over the operation time of the X-ray tube. The present invention therefore suggests evaluating spectrally different values detected with an X-ray detector arrangement (32) of the X-ray system. A reference data set representing a reference condition of the X-ray tube by a plurality of spectrally different reference-values (44) and a working data set representing an aged condition of the X-ray tube by a plurality of spectrally different working-values (46) of detected X-ray radiation are used to determine an equivalent filtration function for an filtration material influencing a source X-ray radiation (26) emitted by an anode (16) of the X-ray tube.

  • Publication number: 20150018112
Abstract: A method and system for training the movement of a golf club that includes a mobile device that receives positional data based on movement of a golf club and stores summation parameters of golf club movements in a trainee database. In addition, the mobile device builds a training envelope that determines the parameters for training and detraining movements. The mobile device then selects a best movement from a plurality of training iterations and outputs an instantaneous feedback based on the positional data during the training iterations. The best movement is the positional and rotational data generated by a best swing. A new best movement is determined from a training iteration that produces a better result than the previous movement.
