  • Publication number: 20160224925
Abstract: Apparatus and methods for aggregating work activity information, application usage and/or self-reported work status designations are presented. Tracked activity information can be used to automatically determine worker status, or audit status designations manually submitted by workers. Reporting can be delivered to users (a) tracking activities and progress against predetermined objectives, and/or (b) comparing worker activities and progress against that of other workers. Worker activity information can be used by managers to evaluate and improve worker performance.

  • Publication number: 20150076973
Abstract: Disclosed herein are a piece of furniture and a method for dispensing diapers. The furniture keeps diapers neatly organized and conveniently accessible for dispensing. The furniture has an elongated interior space, a platform, a lead screw, a motor, a detector, and a processor. The platform can hold a stack of diapers and move the stack of diapers so they can be dispensed from the top of the piece of furniture. Rotating a lead screw raises and lowers the platform within the piece of furniture. A detector positioned at the top of the interior space of the piece of furniture is configured to detect when a diaper is dispensed from the interior space. A processor in communication with the detector and the motor is configured to activate the motor, thereby raising the platform, when the detector detects that a diaper has been dispensed from the piece of furniture.

  • Publication number: 20090327934
Abstract: In a display component, a component application having an attribute is provided. The component application is configured to communicate with an external system. In one embodiment the component application receives a communication from the external system to modify the value of the attribute. A value of the attribute of the display component is modified to define a logical relationship between a plurality of presentation elements. The presentation elements are operated and displayed by the external system. A user input is received via a user interface of the component application. The logical relationship between the presentation elements is triggered in response to the user input. In one embodiment, triggering the logical relationship includes defining an alternate path through a presentation. In another embodiment, an edit mode user interface for modifying a value of an internal display component attribute is provided.

  • Publication number: 20090327897
Abstract: In a presentation system, a presentation program is provided to display a user interface having a presentation window. A library of presentation elements is provided. The library includes a title and a thumbnail for a presentation element. The presentation elements include templates and components. Each presentation element has an attribute that defines a logical relationship with another presentation element. From the library of presentation elements, a plurality of presentation elements is selected. The selected presentation elements are inserted into the presentation. The selected presentation elements are logically related to create the presentation by setting a value of the attribute of a selected presentation element. The logical relationships alter the output of the presentation, for example, by defining an alternate path through the presentation. Each presentation element includes a user interface for triggering the defined logical relationship.

  • Publication number: 20060234201
Abstract: In an electronic learning program, a training program is provided to convey information to a user. The training program uses sequences and measures within the sequences to organize the course material to be presented. An assessment of the user is performed prior to formal training. The assessment tests for attitude and knowledge base of the user. The attitude assessment solicits responses from each user as to state of mind regarding the training program. The knowledge assessment solicits responses from each user to test understanding of the course material. The training program is adapted under a rule structure based on the assessment to alter presentation of the training program. A first or second measure is selected for presentation to the user based on a rule check of the user assessment. The first measure is a different level of detail than the second measure of similar subject matter.
