  • Patent number: 7384005
Abstract: A spray head assembly is provided for use in RV's, motor homes, campers and the like having gray and black water waste tanks. The spray head assembly allows for easy and thorough cleaning of the tanks to rid the tanks of sludge and debris that accumulates therein potentially causing unsanitary and unsafe conditions. Different forms of the invention are described for either retro-fitting or for factory installation on new RV's. The preferred form of the spray head assembly includes a mount having a planar flange for attachment to the outside wall of an RV waste tank. An aperture formed in the tank wall allows the spray head assembly to penetrate therethrough. By attaching a water conduit to the spray head assembly the nozzle of the spray head assembly will rapidly rotate by the pressurized water directed therein and will forcefully spray water through a plurality of channels in the nozzle. The sprayed water strikes the interior tank walls with great force, dislodging the sludge and debris buildup.

  • Patent number: 6619596
Abstract: A collapsible support is provided for a flexible RV sewer hose which includes in the preferred form, a plurality of pairs of identical arches. The height of each arch pair is different from the preceding arch pair to allow a sewer hose placed therein to properly flow by gravitational forces from the RV to a septic system. The arches of the support are hinged along the side so that each arch will cradle the sewage hose at an angle to the longitudinal axis of the sewer hose.

  • Patent number: 6606452
Abstract: A bi-metallic anode is disclosed for use in small hot water heaters such as in recreational vehicles, motor homes and the like. The anode includes a threaded portion and a shaft formed from a relatively non-corrosible metal such as steel, A second section made from a corrosible metal such as magnesium is affixed to the shaft. In use, the shaft spaces the corrosible section from the inner tank wall and fitting, thus providing for a more effective and longer lasting hot water heater.

  • Patent number: 6050284
Abstract: An auxiliary exhaust system is provided for releasable attachment to internal combustion engines as are used on electrical generators of recreational vehicles or the like. The auxiliary exhaust system is easy to assemble and disassemble and directs combustion gases which have been cooled by ambient air upwardly to protect the RV occupants and near passersby. The auxiliary exhaust system provides a venturi effect with plastic stack sections which are slidably joined and which are light in weight. Shock cords stabilize the assembled auxiliary exhaust system and prevent noise transmittal from the generator and during adverse weather conditions such as high winds.

  • Patent number: 5884842
Abstract: A tubular tank cleaning tool for use in an R.V. waste storage tank or the like is provided with a rotating nozzle affixed to a tubular body for connection at its opposite end to a conventional garden hose. The improvement includes a flexible section of the tubular body having a coil spring within to allow the tool to be easily bent around corners and tight angles. The coil spring prevents the flexible section from kinking while a nozzle guard at the distal end of the tubular body prevents the nozzle from catching as the tool is inserted or withdrawn from a waste storage tank.

  • Patent number: 5758693
Abstract: An end cap for a flexible hose is provided which includes a depending pivotable member attached to an outer wall. The pivotable member can be swung upwardly between the inner and outer walls of the end cap to secure the end of a flexible hose therein. The end cap is integrally formed such as by molding from a medium density polymeric material such as polyethylene and includes an integral clamp mechanism to insure retention of a flexible hose therein.

  • Patent number: 5667256
Abstract: A gray water line adaptor formed from a polymeric material is useful for draining water, other than sewage from motor homes, RV's, campers and the like while maintaining required sanitation. The adaptor is placed in the sewer receptacle stub to prevent odor and bacteria escapage. The adaptor can also be coupled to a conventional sewer hose for sanitary fresh water rinsing of the sewer hose by utilizing the water hose connector positioned atop the adaptor.
