  • Publication number: 20170166477
Abstract: A process for coating a glass article of manufacture may include providing a glass article at an initial temperature of above about 105° C., and depositing a coating onto a surface of said glass article. The coating may include an adhesion promoter and a compounded polymer that includes a copolymer of an ?-olefin and an ?,?-unsaturated carboxylic acid and a wax. The process may include heating said glass article to a temperature above said initial temperature sufficient to promote adhesion of said coating to said glass article. Glass articles having the coating adhered to the glass article are also described.

  • Publication number: 20110291903
Abstract: A multi band antenna feed, for supporting multiple frequency bands, is coupled to a reflector and includes a cylindrical core waveguide and at least three coaxial cylinders, encircling said cylindrical core waveguide and forming at least three coaxial waveguides, bounded between pairs of consecutive coaxial cylinders. The cylindrical core waveguide and the at least three coaxial waveguides provide a pair of sum and difference radiation patterns, for each frequency band: a C-band, an S-band and an L-band.

  • Patent number: 6441793
Abstract: An antenna feed system capable of simultaneously transmitting and receiving in multiple frequency bands. In one embodiment, the feed system comprises a non-collimating lens attached to the emitting end of a broad-band antenna feed. The lens is positioned to receive and focus the broad-band wireless signals from any reflector configuration to any antenna feed. It is also positioned to transmit and focus the broad-band wireless signals from any antenna feed to any reflector configuration. A method for illuminating a reflector configuration through an antenna feed with the lens is disclosed. A wireless sensor system is also disclosed. In one embodiment, the non-collimating lens may be used as part of a wireless signal sensor unit used to increase or decrease the angular aperture of the sensor unit.

  • Patent number: 6329957
Abstract: An antenna feed system capable of simultaneously receiving and transmitting in multiple frequency bands is disclosed. In one embodiment, the feed system comprises a dielectric loading rod, an inner cylindrical waveguide, and one or more outer cylindrical waveguides. The dielectric loading rod lies along a central axis, as do the inner waveguide and outer waveguides. The axis of the inner waveguide and the rod may coincide. Each waveguide may be configured to receive and transmit a different frequency band simultaneously with the other waveguides. In addition, the axes of the outer waveguides also coincide with the central axis. The antenna feed system may further comprise one or more junctions disposed to propagate electromagnet radiation into and out of the inner waveguide and outer waveguides. A method and kit for simultaneously receiving and transmitting in multiple frequencies are also disclosed.
