Abstract: A jaw assembly for use with a tool for bundling elongated items with a tie strap, the strap having a tail and a tail-receiving head, the tool having a tool body, means for actuating the jaw assembly from an open position to a closed position, and means for introducing the tail of the strap to the jaw assembly, the jaws of the jaw assembly being mounted in a movable manner on the tool body, each jaw providing a guide means for the tie tail, and at least one jaw including means for receiving a tie mount within the jaw, the tie mount including means for receiving a portion of the tie strap tail through it such that a tie tail introduced to the jaw assembly is guided along each jaw and through the tail receiving means of the tie mount to bundle the elongate items.

Abstract: A portable label printing system for printing on a variety of materials is disclosed. A retractable platen roller cooperates with a self-aligning print head in three planes cooperates for proper label printing registration. A display screen allows the user to view precisely what the actual label and associated indicia will look like when printed on a selected label. In addition, the printing system includes an optical sensor positioned to sense data marks on the backside of a label, located on a label supply roll, allowing the printing system to identify the label specifications and make necessary adjustments to affect print quality. Reverse feed of the label supply roll is possible. The label printing system further comprises a communication port for cooperation with various devices, such as online databases and computers.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a new and efficient apparatus with purpose of transporting individual cable ties to a workpiece area where an individual cable tie is directed to surround and cinch a workpiece within the workpiece area. Further this apparatus has the purpose to sever and dispose of surplus cable tie portions, and carrier strips as well as unwanted workpiece length.
