  • Patent number: 8485493
Abstract: Methods and apparatus providing a column forming assembly formable from multiple column forming sub-assemblies that are stackable providing a compact storage or transport configuration. A column forming structure is formed from multiple elongated wall sections configured for interlocking engagement with each other to form a hollow, open ended structure adapted to accept a settable substance, such as concrete or plaster. The multiple elongated wall sections are stackable and can be stored to shipped to a job site in a condensed or nested configuration. The nested configuration reduces empty or hollow spaces provided by assembled forms. In some embodiments, the forms can be disassembled after use for transport from the jobsite, storage, and later reuse. The column forming assembly can be combined with one or more column-end forms and with thin-walled column forming inserts.

  • Publication number: 20050045383
Abstract: A method and apparatus for removing particulate matter from a drilling fluid by passing the drilling fluid through a shale shaker screen disposed at the surface. The screen is manufactured from the same diffusion bonded wire laminates used to make a sand control screen used in production. The screen comprises three layers each of a different pore size that are stacked one on top of the other. The layer having the smallest pore size is placed at the top of the stack and the layer having the largest pore size is placed at the bottom of the stack. The present invention is also directed to a system for removing particulate matter from the drilling fluid. The system includes a pump and shale shaker comprising the improved screen.

  • Patent number: 6543742
Abstract: A form for molding a footing at an end of another form for molding a pillar. The footing form includes a rigid hollow base having a bottom, an open top and a side wall extending upwardly from the bottom to the open top, and wherein the bottom is larger than the open top. A sleeve extends upwardly from the open top of the base for being received within an end of a pillar form. The footing form also includes protrusions extending laterally outwardly from an outer surface of the sleeve for frictionally engaging an inner surface of the pillar form, yet preventing the inner surface of the pillar form from engaging the outer surface of the sleeve. Accordingly, the overall contact area between the footings is reduced for easier application of the pillar form onto the sleeve of the footing form.
