  • Publication number: 20200320892
Abstract: A system and method provides an estimator game on a computing device for habituating complex learning processes, wherein the estimator game displays a source image on the computing device, and the computing system analyzes a particular image aspect of the visual image such as the percentage area of the visual image comprising a distinctive color, for example, the color black. The system includes an estimator module allowing the user to view and evaluate the image and subjectively enter an estimate associated with the image aspect. The estimation data is entered by the user, and stored by the processor in an associated computer readable memory, and then the estimation process is repeated with the user. The computing system runs the user through multiple image evaluations before providing performance feedback, wherein the estimator game generates feedback to the user in clusters or image sets.

  • Patent number: 9649555
Abstract: A method for providing a puzzle game on a computing device includes displaying a source image on the computing device; dividing the source image into discrete divided sections; displaying on the computing device the source image divided into the divided sections; creating and then displaying on the computing device kaleidoscopic images, each kaleidoscopic image corresponding to one of the divided sections; and permitting a user to play the puzzle game by permitting the user to select a kaleidoscopic image that corresponds to one of the divided sections from the displayed kaleidoscopic images.

  • Patent number: 6755419
Abstract: An intellectual game for rehearsing cognitive skills for complex critical thinking involving the analysis of multiple variables. The intellectual game includes a set of playing cards, or alternatively, computer software for playing the intellectual game. Each of the playing cards includes an image representing a value for each of a plurality of criterions. Each of the plurality of criterions are associated with a different edge of the playing card. The playing cards are matched to each other along their edges based on the corresponding values of the criterions associated with the matching edges. The computer software embodiment of the intellectual game includes a pattern of icons representing values for each of a plurality of criterion. The icons are matched to each other based upon the values of the criterions via selection markers.
