Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a routing method and device. The method includes: receiving an access request from a user, wherein the access request points to a page, obtaining user attribute information of the user based on the access request, determining, based on at least a part of the user attribute information and according to a preset rule, a server cluster, wherein the server cluster is configured to provide a service on the page for the user, and routing the access request to the server cluster.

In one embodiment, the method includes retrieving current version information associated with the global information from a global information server; retrieving global information from the global information server based on the current version information; updating a period of validity of the current version information based on a status of communication with the global information server; and suspending a network service for the global information when detecting that the period of validity of the current version information has expired.

Abstract: Techniques for validating complex digital objects such as DICOM objects. The techniques employ a declarative validation document which employs a declarative constraint language to specify the constraints to which the complex digital object is subject. A validator performs an evaluation of the constraint document with regard to the complex digital object. The complex digital object is valid if all of the constraints in the validation document are satisfied. The constraint document may be compiled by an optimizing compiler and the validator may apply the resulting compiled constraint specification to an in-memory representation of the digital object which has been optimized for fast reference. An example is given of the use of the techniques with DICOM objects.

Abstract: Systems, methodologies, media, and other embodiments associated with a mobile multimedia database are described. One exemplary system embodiment includes a mobile database and logic for communicating media data from the mobile database to an enterprise database. The exemplary system may also include logic for creating a media service request and for communicating the media service request from the system to the enterprise database. A media service request may describe an action on a piece of media data. The exemplary system may also include logic for receiving a media service reply from the enterprise database. A media service reply may describe an action performed by the enterprise database in response to the media service request.

Abstract: The described implementations relate to expressing terminologies in a hierarchical form. One implementation can receive a terminology that can include concept-code pairs. For example, each of the concept-code pairs can include a concept and a code that is assigned to the concept by the terminology. The implementation can map the concepts to levels of a hierarchical ontology, and associate some of the concepts across different levels of the hierarchical ontology. The implementation can also provide programmatic access to the concept-code pairs of the terminology via the hierarchical ontology.

One example method includes controlling a database management system (DBMS) to instantiate a database object that has a binary large object (BLOB) attribute, an XML edits attribute, and a set of metadata attributes. The method includes storing a binary stream associated with a multimedia content (e.g., medical image) in the BLOB attribute and storing an editing history of the set of metadata attributes as a set of edit entries in the XML edits attribute. The method also includes controlling the DBMS to store the database object in a column in a table in a relational database managed by the DBMS.

The data format description includes data components that represent a field of the data object as a description of the field and a tag. On decoding, the decoder decodes the field's value and produces an XML element that contains the value and the tag from the data component. On encoding, the encoder uses the tag to locate the XML element and encodes the value in the data object. Also included in the data format description are attributes and control statements An object, its XML representation, and the encoders and decoders may be combined to produce self-describing data objects in which a modification of the XML representation automatically results in a modification of the data object.
