    Abstract: Disclosed herein are method and kit for diagnosing acute myocardial infarction which is capable of predicting and diagnosing whether coronary artery disease is proceed to myocardial infarction or not by using an increase in triglyceride level in high density lipoprotein (HDL) or low density lipoprotein (LDL), a decrease in cholesterol level in HDL, increase of interleukin-6, CETP (cholesteryl ester transfer protein) and apo (apolipoprotein) C-III as a biomarker that are characteristic changes occurred only in sera of myocardial infarction patients among patients with coronary artery disease.
