Abstract: A water purifier includes: a filter module for providing purified water by filtering raw water; a fitting valve module detachably fastened to the filter module to provide at least one of a flow path for a flow of raw water supplied to the filter module and a flow path for a flow of the purified water discharged from the filter module; and a frame including a valve support for movably supporting the fitting valve module to be movable. The fitting valve module is selectively placed in a separated state in which the fitting valve module is separated from the filter module by moving in a direction away from the filter module, or a coupled state in which the fitting valve module coupled to the filter module by moving toward the filter module.

Abstract: An absorbent article for preventing leakage is provided, the article including an absorbent assembly having an absorbent assembly perimeter, and a leakage warning element disposed adjacent a portion of the perimeter, wherein the leakage warning element includes a dimension change member adapted to dimensionally change upon liquid contact to produce a transition in the absorbent article between an activated state and an un-activated state, thereby producing a physical sensation indicating a fullness level of the absorbent assembly. The absorbent article also provides an absorbent assembly having an absorbent assembly perimeter and a leakage warning element including a stored energy device and a dimension change member, the dimension change member disposed along a portion of the perimeter, wherein the dimension change member is adapted to break upon liquid contact to produce a transition in the leakage warning element from an un-activated state to an activated state.

Abstract: Disclosed are an apparatus and a method for originating a call using the latest communication records in a mobile communication terminal. The apparatus and the method include enabling a user to originate a call with a desired type of a phone number based on the latest communication records provided. The apparatus and the method displays at least one phone number which corresponds to a name, on a latest communication record image displayed on a display unit of a mobile communication terminal. The phone number can be displayed as an icon and may be classified into an office phone number, a home phone number, a cellular phone number, etc. The apparatus and the method further provide for the display of different phone number types for a selected recipient for communication on a latest communication record image and enable selective call origination based on the latest communication records when the mobile communication terminal originates a call.

Abstract: An elastic sided curved absorbent pad is provided with soft side edges providing efficient leakage protection without irritation. The pad has elasticized side panels which comprise at least two layers of non-woven material mounted between a cover and baffle, projecting beyond the side edges of the cover and the baffle, giving the panel soft, free outer distal edges and one or more elastic members inboard from the free distal edge. The layers of non-woven material and the elastic member are bonded together, except for the distal edges which are not bonded. This provides a lace-like appearance and feel.

Abstract: An individually packaged absorbent article and a method for making the same is disclosed. The individual package comprises an absorbent pad having side tabs and a wrapper having a central release strip which may be parallel or perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the wrapper. On either side of the central release strip are tab release members, the tab release members and the central release strip being permanently attached to the wrapper. The wrapper and the absorbent pad are folded as a unit about at least two lateral spaced-apart fold lines.
