    Abstract: A support structure (10) for forming a wreath includes an annular backing ring (14) having a plurality of straps (16) connected thereto. Each strap is spaced apart from one another along the circumference of the backing ring, and includes a first portion (18) having a first engaging material for releasably engaging with a second engaging material; and a second portion (20) having a second engaging material for releasably engaging the first engaging material. In the preferred embodiment, a plurality of openings (22) or (24) are defined in the backing ring at spaced apart locations along the circumference of the backing ring, wherein a strap is inserted in at least some of the openings.
