  • Publication number: 20200325056
Abstract: A system and process for forming a curved glass laminate article is provided. The process and system utilizes co-sagging of a stack of glass sheets of different thicknesses and different glass materials. During co-sagging the thicker glass layer is placed on top of the thinner glass layer. In this process, shape mismatch is avoided by selecting/controlling the glass materials of the sheets of glass such that the viscosity of the lower, thinner sheet during co-sagging is greater than the viscosity of the thicker glass sheet.

  • Publication number: 20200140317
Abstract: A system and process for forming a curved glass laminate article is provided. The process and system utilizes a separation material, such as solid lubricating material and/or a spray applied separation material that Applicant has determined reduces bending dot formation during co-sagging shaping of glass sheets. The bending dot reduction provided by the separation materials discussed herein is particularly seen when the pair of glass sheets have significantly different thicknesses and/or viscosities from each other.

  • Publication number: 20180074038
Abstract: A method of diagnosing central nervous system injuries such as acquired brain injury (ABI) and/or acquired spinal cord injury (ASI), including mild TBI (concussion or blast wave), mild ASI (contusion, stretch or partial cord transection), non-TBI brain injury and/or non-TSI spinal cord injury in a subject (animal or human). The method includes (a) obtaining a biological test sample from the subject, identifying metabolites in the subject's sample using metabolomics thereby obtaining a subject's metabolite matrix and generating a subject's profile using the patient's metabolite matrix; and (b) using multivariate statistical analysis and machine learning to compare the subject's profile with predetermined set of profiles of CNS injuries and a predetermined set of profiles of controls to determine if the subject has a CNS injury.
