  • Publication number: 20240161720
Abstract: A neural network emulates a behavior of a reference audio system for at least two control settings. A process, for each control setting, receives control position data designating a select control setting of the reference audio system as conditioning for the neural network, communicates an input to the reference audio system and captures a target output, maps parameters of the neural network such that, responsive to the input, a neural output resembles the target output, scores by a loss function, a similarity of the neural network output compared to the target output of the reference audio system, and utilizes the similarity derived from the loss function to modify model parameters of the neural network. A graphical user interface enables a user to select a virtual control setting within the graphical user interface such that the neural network models the reference audio system at the corresponding control setting.

  • Publication number: 20240160542
Abstract: Techniques for assigning scenario-based tests to test assets are described. In an example, a scenario-based test operable to test a key performance indicator (KPI) of a System Under Test (SUT), a component behavior exhibited by a first component of the SUT, and a scenario characteristic are received. Based on the component behavior and the scenario characteristic, a first plurality of behavior models associated with the component behavior are identified. Based on the scenario characteristic a characteristic value is extracted from the scenario-based test. Each behavior model of the first plurality of behavior models is executed using the characteristic value to generate a first plurality of predicted behavior outcomes. Based on the first plurality of predicted behavior outcomes, a first test asset type from a plurality of test asset types is selected and the scenario-based test is transmitted to a test asset of the first test asset type.

  • Patent number: 11965424
Abstract: A method for providing overspeed protection for a gas turbine engine having an engine shaft includes monitoring, via an overspeed protection system, a torque of the engine shaft. The method also includes determining, via the overspeed protection system, at least one additional condition of the engine shaft. Further, the method includes determining, via the overspeed protection system, an overspeed condition of the gas turbine engine when the torque of the engine shaft drops below a torque threshold and the at least one additional condition of the engine shaft is indicative of the gas turbine engine being in an operational state. Thus, the overspeed condition is indicative of an above normal rotational speed of the engine shaft. In addition, the method includes initiating a shutdown procedure for the gas turbine engine in response to the determined overspeed condition to reduce the rotational speed of the engine shaft.
