  • Patent number: 7931214
Abstract: A sprinkler apparatus comprises a sprinkler motor configured to rotate an output gear and a sprinkler tube configured to move in a repeating pattern in response to rotation of the output gear. The sprinkler apparatus further comprises a tube adapter interposed between the output gear and the sprinkler tube. The tube adapter is fixed in relation to the sprinkler tube. The tube adapter includes a first set of teeth and the output gear has a plurality of extending flexible fingers defining a second set of teeth which engage the first set of teeth. The output gear and the tube adaptor include water passages through which water advances from the sprinkler motor to the sprinkler tube. The flexible fingers on the output gear allow the second set of teeth to slide over the first set of teeth and provide a torque limiting relationship between the output gear and the tube adaptor.

  • Patent number: 7404420
Abstract: A portable sprayer includes a tank and a measuring device in selective fluid communication with the tank. The measuring device may be located adjacent to a funnel at the top of the tank and a valve provided to selectively control the flow of fluid from the measuring device into the funnel. The measuring device may include a plurality of surfaces extending from the internal wall of the measuring device to provide indicia of the amount of fluid within the measuring device.

  • Patent number: 7281673
Abstract: A multi-pattern spray nozzle assembly includes a movable internal water conduit that may be in the form of a rotary member. The movable water conduit is movable between a plurality of spray stations on a spray head, each spray station capable of generating a different spray pattern. The movable water conduit may be manipulated by a knob located at the rear portion of the multi-pattern spray nozzle assembly.

  • Patent number: 7219850
Abstract: A water spray nozzle assembly includes an internal channel that is sealable by an internal valve having a seat and a disc. A tilting member is operable to tilt the disc at least partially off of the seat, allowing water to flow through the internal channel. The disc may be further tilted completely off of the seat to provide additional water flow through the water spray nozzle.
