Abstract: A pacing device for a tennis player. The pacer includes a housing within which at least a portion of the pacer is enclosed. The housing is suitable for incorporation into a tennis racket. A read-out is located at an exterior of the housing for displaying information. A timer is positioned within the housing and in communication with the read-out for displaying information generated by the timer. An input device allows a player to program the timer to track a single or variable elapsed period of time.
