  • Patent number: 7014040
Abstract: In a golf bag that includes a body with a top end and a bottom end, a throat structure is mounted in the top end of the body. The throat structure has a substantially ring shaped outer wall and a raised inner wall extending transversely of the body top end with its opposite ends connected to the outer wall. A first plurality of three divider walls extends between the inner and outer walls to define a first plurality of four individual compartments located along a back portion of the throat structure. Each compartment of the first plurality of individual compartments is adapted for receiving one wood-type golf club. A raised well is located along a front portion of the throat structure opposite the first plurality of individual compartments. The raised well is adapted for receiving a golf putter.

  • Patent number: 6735462
Abstract: An infrared imaging system (10) includes a catheter (11). The catheter is inserted into a small passageway, such as a blood vein (23), in order to collect infrared information from the vein. The information is refracted by at least one lens (32, 46, 52, 57, 63) in a collecting section (17, 45, 56, 61) of the catheter, and is imaged onto the ends (38) of an array of optical fibers (34). The fibers transmit the information to a relay lens (42), which images the information onto respective detector elements of an infrared detector (12). The infrared detector converts the information received from the relay lens into electrical information, which is transmitted to a circuit (13). The circuit generates electrical data that is transmitted to a display (16), which displays a visible image based on the infrared radiation emitted by the scene.

  • Patent number: 6663502
Abstract: A customizable golf putter head includes a face member and a back body both of which may be selected from a plurality of differently configured face members and back bodies. The face member has a cavity formed in its rear surface, and the back body has a mating section that is positioned within the cavity of the face member so that a parting line between the face member and the back body is concealed below a top ledge of the face member when the putter head is assembled. A hosel selected from a plurality of differently configured hosels is mounted on the face member, and an elastomeric membrane is positioned within the cavity of the face member so as to be interposed between the face member and the back body.

  • Patent number: 6623678
Abstract: A method of making a prototype golf club grip includes the steps of providing a two-piece mold having a main chamber and a pair of blind bores extending from opposed ends of the main chamber, providing a mandril having an intermediate section and opposite ends, placing the mandril in the two-piece mold with its intermediate section in the main chamber thereof and its opposite ends in the blind bores of the two-piece mold, pouring polymeric material such as epoxy into the main chamber of the two-piece mold, curing the polymeric material to form a grip blank on the intermediate section of the mandril, removing the mandril and the grip blank from the two-piece mold, and machining the grip blank to form a desired shape and features thereon to complete the prototype golf club grip.

  • Patent number: 6619804
Abstract: An optical engine (15) for an SLM-type display system, which may be either a front or rear projection system (10, 20). The optical engine (15) provides for a high contrast, telecentric illumination angle to the SLM (33) without compromising brightness by vignetting due to offset in the pupil. The resulting offset pupil is converted to a telecentric, on-axis image by a relay path (34) between the SLM (33) and the projection lens (37). The relay path (34) places the image at an intermediate image plane accessible by a the projection lens (37), which permits the projection lens (37) to be telecentric without an offset pupil.

  • Publication number: 20030119601
Abstract: A customized golf putter head includes a face member and hosel combination that is selected from a plurality of differently configured face member and hosel combinations and a back body that is selected from a plurality of differently configured back bodies. The selected back body has a mating section that is disposed in a cavity formed in a rear surface of the selected face member and hosel combination. The putter head may also include a membrane that is positioned between the selected face member and hosel combination and the selected back body for absorbing vibration when a front surface of the selected face member and hosel combination strikes a golf ball.
