Publication number: 20240152319Abstract: Systems and methods for providing supplemental information with a response to a command are provided herein. In some embodiments, audio data representing a spoken command may be received by a cloud-based information system. A response to the command may be retrieved from a category related to the context of the command. A supplemental information database may also be provided that is pre-populated with supplemental information related to an individual having a registered account on the cloud-based information system. In response to retrieving the response to the command, supplemental information may be selected from the supplemental information database to be appended to the response to the command. A message may then be generated including the response and the supplemental information appended thereto, which in turn may be converted into audio data representing the message, which may be sent to a voice-controlled electronic device of the individual.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 16, 2023Publication date: May 9, 2024Inventors: Srikanth Doss Kadarundalagi Raghuram Doss, Jeffery David Wells, Richard Dault, Benjamin Joseph Tobin, Mark Douglas Elders, Stanislava R. Publication number: 20220108813Abstract: The widespread utilization and growing demand for radiopharmaceuticals are attributable to the development and availability of a range of radiopharmaceuticals. The present disclosure describes methods of making 3-dimensional nano-porous, micro-porous, meso-porous, or macro-porous materials. The present disclosure also describes methods of irradiating and separating isotopes using the 3-dimensional nano-porous, micro-porous, meso-porous, or macro-porous materials.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 5, 2021Publication date: April 7, 2022Applicant: STC.UNMInventors: Douglas WELLS, Nikolai KALUGIN, Alexey SEROV

Publication number: 20200016951Abstract: An air suspension system which uses software logic and internal signals and/or external signals available to automatically adjust the ride height of the vehicle. The air suspension system also may respond to requests from other vehicle systems requesting a change in ride height. Signals available to the vehicle may be used to detect parking lot maneuvers (for example, a combination of low speed, high steering angle, and low lateral acceleration) and automatically begin to lower the ride height of the vehicle to a calibrated “entry/exit” ride height. Additionally, a camera, radar, and/or parking sensor signals are utilized to detect potential roof or undercarriage clearance issues, and automatically adjust the ride height of the vehicle. The air suspension system may also adjust the ride height of the vehicle when the electronic brake system (EBS) detects rough road, automatically increasing the ride height of the vehicle to increase ground clearance.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 10, 2018Publication date: January 16, 2020Applicant: Continental Automotive Systems, Inc.Inventors: Matthew Eric Letizio, Jason Wray Fegan, Brian Douglas Wells, Clinton Schumann

Patent number: 9770983Abstract: A portable hand converter for enabling foot-free operation of a conventional motor vehicle. An upper assembly includes a support plate enabling attachment to the steering column of a motor vehicle and a pivotally attached handle. Two adjustable action arms, pivotally connected to the handle, each include a threaded rod slideable within a hollow tube and an adjustable lock nut for adjusting the length of the action arm. A lower end of each action arm is pivotally connected to a pedal clamp assembly. The pedal clamp assemblies enable connection of the lower end of each action arm to one of the foot-operated pedals of a motor vehicle. Attaching the support plate to the steering column and the pedal clamp assemblies to the brake pedal and gas pedal respectively, and adjusting the length of the adjustable action arms enables total control of the motor vehicle by the operator's hands.Type: GrantFiled: January 21, 2015Date of Patent: September 26, 2017Inventor: Martin Douglas Wells

Publication number: 20120067069Abstract: The present invention discloses the special and unique process for a Closed Circuit Food Dehydration Process wherein the uniqueness of the present invention lies in the combination of chilling recirculating air within an enclosed chamber containing the food to be dehydrated to extract and remove latent moisture from within the recirculating air and subsequently heating the selfsame recirculating air to increase the dehydrating efficiency of the Closed Circuit Food Dehydrating Process. An additional feature of the present invention is the recirculation of the air within the enclosed chamber without the communication of air from without the enclosed chamber during the dehydration process.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 6, 2011Publication date: March 22, 2012Inventor: Corban Douglas Wells

Patent number: 7216650Abstract: A handcuffing assisting apparatus includes a panel having a pair of openings extending therethrough. The panel has a break therein extending from a first side edge to a second side edge to define an upper portion and a lower portion of the panel. The upper and lower portions are pivotally coupled together. A closed position is defined when an upper edge of the lower portion is extended into a slot in a lower edge of the upper portion. The break extends through the openings. A securing assembly secures the panel in the closed position. The arms of an inmate are extended through a tray slot of a cell door and into the openings where they are secured by placing the upper and lower portions in the closed position. Handcuffs are then positioned on or removed from the wrists of the inmate.Type: GrantFiled: November 28, 2005Date of Patent: May 15, 2007Inventors: Michael Merriweather, Douglas Wells
