  • Publication number: 20210138653
Abstract: A two-stage insertion system including a gripper to grip a module, a compliance element to provide movement in the XY axis, a first stage insertion control to insert the module into a socket, to a first level, and a second stage insertion control to complete the insertion of the module into the socket, when the first stage insertion control indicates that the module is aligned to the socket, the second level insertion control exerting enough force to complete the insertion of the module into the socket.

  • Patent number: 8107730
Abstract: An apparatus for use with a single modality imaging system configured to generate uncorrected imaging data of a patient, the single modality imaging system includes two gamma cameras and a patient stretcher disposed between the two gamma cameras, the apparatus for compensating for downward stretcher deflection at the extended end of the patient stretcher that occurs during stretcher extension. The apparatus includes a single sag sensor for sensing the downward deflection of the patient stretcher, a subtracting device configured to generate a sag correction factors based on a baseline stretcher height and an input received from the sag sensor, and a compensator configured to modify at least a portion of the uncorrected imaging data to compensate for sag using the using the sag correction factor to generate a unified image.

  • Publication number: 20050194540
Abstract: A method of imaging a patient is provided. The method includes coupling at least one detector to a detector transport member such that the at least one detector moves with the detector transport member and the detector transport member spans an arc of less than about one hundred eighty degrees about an examination axis, supporting the detector transport member through an arcuate base having an arcuate support assembly for receiving the detector transport member, and rotating the detector transport member about the examination axis to a plurality of imaging positions.
