Abstract: The invention relates to freeze-dried molded articles comprising at least one or more active substances and optionally one or more scaffold-forming agents, optionally one or more auxiliary substances, as well as a coating comprising at least one film-forming agent. Furthermore, the invention relates to methods for manufacturing these freeze-dried molded articles, the combination of such freeze-dried molded articles in kit-of-parts arrangements together with aqueous solutions, as well as the use of the freeze-dried molded articles and the kit-of-parts combinations for pharmaceutical and cosmetic application.
