    Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for acquiring, processing and presenting data produced by one or more devices and meters in the field. One or more servers, such as Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition (SCADA) servers, gather and store data from one or more field devices. Remote polling interfaces (RPI) provide a secure transport from the SCADA servers to processing and storage elements of the present embodiments. Data gathered from a plurality of heterogeneous SCADA servers are normalized and consolidated into one or more databases for subsequent processing and presentation, thereby collecting and unifying data from a plurality of heterogeneous sources into a device-agnostic and unified presentation for user viewing and interaction.
