  • Patent number: 5930941
Abstract: A fishing lure to be drawn through a body of water by a fishing line has a body with the shank of a hook extending from the body rearward end, the hook having a curved portion terminating in a pointed end with the curved portion being substantially paralleled to the shank portion and the pointed end extending towards the body. An eyelet is secured to the body adjacent the forward end and top surface to receive a fishing line. A pair of deflectable arms are secured at their inner ends to the body, the arms extending downwardly and rearwardly from the body, the outer ends of the arms being spaced away from each other a distance substantially greater than the body width, the arms being sufficiently stiff so as to remain substantially undeflected as the lure is drawn through a body of water. A spinner is rotatably affixed to the outer end of each of the arms.

  • Patent number: 4961590
Abstract: A trailer aligning and hitching apparatus (10) for towing vehicles (100) and a trailer having a tongue (14) wherein the apparatus (10) includes: a ball equipped hitch unit (11) associated with the trailer tongue (14); and, a base unit (12) associated with the rear of a towing vehicle (100); wherein the base unit (12) includes a base housing member (17) having an enlarged housing cavity (22) that extends through the face (21) and the top (20) of the housing member (17) whereby a ball element (15) will enter the housing member (17) through the face opening a shaft element (16) attached to the ball element (15) will pass through both the face and the top openings in the housing member (17) such that the ball element (15) will be held captive in the housing member (17) when a slidable lock bar member (31) is inserted through the housing member (17).

  • Patent number: 4708359
Abstract: A trailer hitching apparatus having a pair of vehicle sighting rods attached to each side of the ball on the hitch of the vehicle and extending upwardly so that they are clearly visible to a person when backing up the vehicle. A trailer sighting rod is attached to the tongue of a trailer and extends above a trailer hitch coupling which will extend over the ball of the vehicle hitch when the two are coupled together. Thus, the top extent of the trailer sighting rod and the vehicle rods are designed to be approximately the same when in use. In one embodiment of the invention, an angled loading plate is attached to the hitch on the vehicle and extends upwardly from rear to front and has a load pin guiding rail thereon. An opening is disposed in the angled loading plate directly above the ball of the vehicle hitch. A loading pin is attached to the trailer tongue directly above the trailer hitch coupling which is attached to the tongue and this loading pin extends downwardly.
