Patent number: 9615987Abstract: A limb holder generally includes a limb holder assembly, a sled or yoke assembly, a pylon and support bar assembly, a clamp assembly, and a retractor assembly. A limb, such as a leg, is supported by the limb holder. The limb holder is supported by a sled which can move along a support bar that is supported by virtue of a mounting pylon. The mounting pylon is fixed in place by a clamp assembly, the clamp assembly being attached directly to a bed, table, or other patient support. The limb holder can also receive one or more retractor assemblies capable of retracting an incision, such that a user may manipulate a patient's limb during a procedure in which the use of retractors is desired.Type: GrantFiled: July 20, 2012Date of Patent: April 11, 2017Assignee: Stryker CorporationInventors: Dustin L. Patent number: 9381128Abstract: A mobile treatment table including a central support. A first support member is pivotally connected with the central support and operable between a substantially vertical position and a substantially horizontal position. A second support member is pivotally connected with the central support and includes a handle integral therewith. The second support member is operable between a substantially vertical position and a substantially horizontal position. A wheel assembly is operably connected with the second support member and operable between an extended position adjacent a first side of the support member and a retracted position adjacent a second side of the support member.Type: GrantFiled: March 13, 2013Date of Patent: July 5, 2016Assignee: Impact Athletic, LLCInventors: Michael Rozewicz, Kris D. Publication number: 20140012270Abstract: A joint spacer having a body and a series of extensions projecting therefrom is disclosed. A first of the series of extensions may include a curved section for housing a portion of a joint therein (e.g., the intercondylar notch of a knee), and a second and third of the extensions may be configured to abut an opposing portion of the joint. Once inserted, the joint spacer may maintain the spacing between, and the stabilization of, the joint during surgery. A fourth extension may be included with the spacer in which the extension may interact with an insertion-removal instrument. The insertion-removal instrument may include one end having an insertion geometry for use in inserting the spacer into the joint, and an opposing end having a removal geometry for removing the spacer. Related methods for inserting the joint spacer and various alternate joint distraction devices are also disclosed.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 8, 2013Publication date: January 9, 2014Applicant: STRYKER CORPORATIONInventors: John R. Patent number: 8424136Abstract: A mobile treatment table having a central support operably connected with a wheel assembly. A support member is pivotally connected with the central support and operable between a vertical position and a horizontal position. At least one support leg is disposed at a distal end of the support member and operable between a deployed position substantially orthogonal to the support member and a non-deployed position substantially parallel with the support member. A handle extends from a proximal end of the support member and forms a portion of the support member when the support member is in the horizontal position.Type: GrantFiled: February 1, 2010Date of Patent: April 23, 2013Assignee: Impact Athletic, LLCInventors: Michael S. Rozewicz, Kris D. Eager, Dustin L. Worm, Dave J. Veldkamp, Vaughn R. Gerber
