    Abstract: A process to form a multilayer article comprising pressing a stack comprising two or more panels, wherein each panel comprises a surface layer and a substrate layer, wherein a side of the surface layer is contacted to a side of the substrate layer, and wherein the contacting sides of the surface layer and substrate layer have a fast-setting adhesive disposed there between; and wherein pressing comprises applying uniform pressure to the stack orthogonal to the plane of the panels, at ambient temperature and for a time of 0.1 to 20 minutes, and with no subsequent hot pressing. Articles prepared using the method are also disclosed.
