  • Patent number: 7574267
Abstract: A controller for a machine tool or production machine includes a computer with a software program that is not executable in real-time, an interpreter implemented in the non-real-time software program, and a storage medium storing an executable macro loadable into the interpreter for execution by the interpreter. The interpreter determines parameters for parameterizing the controller and stores the parameters in a memory area of the computer. A method for parameterizing a controller or a closed-loop controller is also described. The controller and method can be used to parameterize a controller of a machine tool or production machine. A macro can be used to during startup or reset of the controller.

  • Publication number: 20090182458
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for deactivating at least one control part (1) of a semiconductor converter (5) and to a corresponding control part (1). The semiconductor converter (5) consists of the control part (1) and a semiconductor converter part (3) and the deactivation request (33) is received by the control part (1) or is present in said part. At least one data processing operation (35, 37, 39) is then carried out and deactivation preparation information (59) is generated. The deactivation preparation information can then be used, for example, to release the deactivation of the power supply for the control part.

  • Publication number: 20080004744
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for adapting the parameters (32) of a control and/or regulating device (1,4). The control and/or regulating device (1,4) is provided in particular for a machine tool or production machine. A parameter (32) has one or several attributes (34), wherein the attributes (18,34) of several parameters (32) are determined by means of at least one set of data (14,16,17) for attribute description. The invention also relates to a control and/or regulating device for carrying out said method.

  • Publication number: 20040187097
Abstract: A method for parameterizing software process signal connections between control modules and/or input/output modules of a drive unit is disclosed. Each module has at least one connector of a type designated as signal source and/or signal sink. For connecting a process signal between a signal source and a signal sink, a parameter number of an associated signal source identification parameter is entered as a connection parameter of a corresponding signal sink, and optionally also an index number of the signal source. The disclosed method facilitates the parameterization of software process signal connections between control modules and/or input/output modules of a drive unit.
