    Abstract: A door that includes one or more electrical devices, such as an outlet receptacle, an illuminated house number sign, or an illuminated display panel. The electrical devices are powered from an external source of power that is conducted through a pair of pivotable conductors extending between the door and the adjacent door frame. One end of the pivotable conductors is electrically connected with a source of electrical power, and the other end of the respective pivotable conductors is electrically connected with the electrical devices carried by the door, to avoid external extension cords and to avoid the need to conduct electricity through the door hinges.
