Abstract: Dishware having a body configured to hold a heated liquid; a temperature sensor integrated into the body, the temperature sensor positioned and configured to detect a temperature of the heated liquid; and an alarm configured to alert a user when the temperature is within a threshold range. The temperature sensor, via a transmitter, may communicate with a mobile device to alert the user to the temperature of the liquid contents. A software application (“App”) provides a user interface relative to the communications between the temperature sensor and the mobile device. The dishware may be of a conventional type or disposable in nature (e.g., Starbucks cup).

Abstract: A collapsible ladder includes a first pair of legs and a second pair of legs, each of the first pair of legs and the second pair of legs is rotatably joined near tops thereof; a plurality of steps extending between one of the first pair of legs and one of the second pair of legs, each of the steps rotatably jointed about a mid-point thereof; a first vertical spar slidably connected to each of the steps near the mid-points thereof; a plurality of supports extending between a second one of the first pair of legs and a second one of the second pair of legs, each of the supports rotatably jointly about a mid-point thereof; and a second vertical spar slidably connected to each of the supports near the mid-points thereof. This configuration allows the ladder to be collapsed by raising the first and second vertical spars causing the steps and supports to fold about their mid-points permitting the first and second pair of legs to be generally folded/collapsed into a single column.

Abstract: A cutting device comprising: a housing containing a cutting blade with a portion of the cutting blade extending from the housing; a safety guard having an end positioned proximate to the cutting blade portion extending from the housing; and a spring-biased safety guard release connected to an elongated member, the elongated member in communication with an arcuate, flat spring extending from a second end of the safety guard. In this manner, as soon as pressure is released from the cutting blade, the safety guard returns to its home position even if the safety guard release button is still being pressed. Thus, the cutting blade is only fully exposed without the safety guard in place when the cutting blade is being used to cut an article.

The post is insertable into the vertical member of the other support and movably joined at a first end thereto such that the post may move side-to-side, in a rocking manner relative to the vertical member stabilizing the table. Another version includes a table having two spaced supports each with a horizontal member and a stabilizing member configured to slip over one horizontal member and movably connect thereto. When attached, the stabilizing member may rock about the connection point with the horizontal member.

Abstract: An integral system for stabilizing a table and chair on an uneven surface. The table comprises a table top supported by a first end of a primary shaft, a second end of the primary shaft having a first pair of legs extending therefrom; a secondary shaft positioned within, and movably joined at a first end to, the primary shaft, a second end of the secondary shaft having a second pair of legs extending therefrom; and wherein the secondary shaft may move in a side-to-side manner relative to primary shaft thereby stabilizing the table. Another version utilizes a plate member and shaft combination. Chairs may use similar technology.

Abstract: A dual safety utility knife having a safety guard positioned next to the cutting blade preventing accidental injuries when the tip of the knife accidentally contacts human bodies. A spring keeps pushing out the safety guard to cover the side of the cutting blade at all times. The safety guard moves back inside the knife shell only when the tip of the knife pressed against hard objects for cutting. The safe guard doesn't move back inside the knife shell when the knife tip pressed against soft objects such as skins and mussels. Additional safety feature keeps locking the safety guard from movements at all times for extra safety protection. The safety guard is released only when the safe release button manually pushed in. A box cutting guide allows cutting the top of the boxes with an even straight line. A blade folder is provided for fast blade change.
