  • Publication number: 20220176060
Abstract: A disposable filter (100), for use in a breathing circuit of a ventilator, includes a filter housing (110), which encloses a filter material (112) of the disposable filter. The filter housing has a first filter opening (118) and a second filter opening (119) for the respective connection of a gas-carrying (gas-guiding) component, especially of a respective tube, for a gas to be carried through the disposable filter. The filter material is arranged between the first filter opening and the second filter opening. The disposable filter has on the filter housing an imprint (120), which is arranged on the filter housing by a printing process, and which forms a structured surface (122). The structured surface can be written on and includes at least seven check (marking) areas (124).

  • Patent number: 11170624
Abstract: A system includes a medical device, a patient sensor, an output unit and a signal processing unit that receives measured values from patient sensors and generates signals by analyzing received measured values. The signal processing unit decides whether an alarm criterion, relating to the generated signal, is met and detects an alarm and an alarm time and actuates the output unit. The actuated output unit displays an overall alarm sequence (16) in an overall time period (T) and an alarm reference sequence in a reference section (26) time window (T1) temporally positioned relative to the overall alarm sequence. At least one of a signal curve display (10) and an alarm reference sequence (18) are displayed as a portion of the overall time period. Time scales for the signal curve display and the alarm reference sequence are finer than time scales for the overall alarm sequence and the alarm reference section.

  • Patent number: 6352504
Abstract: A device is provided for monitoring patients, which is used to detect and process physiological data of a patient, which are measured by sensors. To make possible the most flexible use possible in patient monitoring, especially the connection of additional special sensors (2) and to ensure simple handling of the device even in the case of transportation, the patient monitoring device has a transportable terminal (8), which has connections (18) for connection to sensors (2) for measuring physiological parameters of the patient and signal processing devices (31, 23, 24, 25) for receiving and processing the sensor signals received, and is provided with a network adapter (26) for forwarding the processed sensor data to a stationary medical workplace (14) with display and alarm devices, as well as one or more expansion modules (9) for the connection of additional desired sensors (2).

  • Patent number: 6171255
Abstract: A pneumatic system of a device for noninvasive blood pressure measurement includes a pneumatic cuff which is connected to a multisensor block (9) by means of a pneumatic connection line (26). At least one sensor (13) sending electric output signals for measuring physiological parameters is connected to the multisensor block (9) by an electric connection line (23). The multisensor block (9) is connected to an evaluating and supply unit (8) by a single hybrid cable (10) containing a gas-carrying line (14) and at least two electric lines (15, 15′).
