  • Patent number: 8777589
Abstract: A system for actuation in an admission valve of a gas compressor including an admission valve being configured to allow the input of gas inside the cylinder upon the axial movement of the piston in a first axial direction; and a discharge valve configured to allow the output of gas from inside the cylinder upon the axial movement of the piston in a second axial direction opposite to the first axial direction. The system includes at least one actuator element, operatively associated with the admission valve, capable of keeping the admission valve open when the electric motor stops and starts-up. The actuator element is also capable of allowing opening and closing of the admission valve upon the regime of work of the electric motor. The present development also refers to refrigeration equipment which includes the above-mentioned gas compressor.

  • Publication number: 20110311382
Abstract: The present invention refers to a system for actuation in an ad mission valve (5) of a gas compressor (1) comprising at least: one set formed by a cylinder (2) and a piston (3); one electric motor (4), operatively associated with said set, capable of providing an axial movement of the piston (3) to compress the gas inside the cylinder (2), the admission valve (5) being configured to allow the input of gas inside the cylinder (2) upon the axial movement of the piston (3) in a first axial direction; and a discharge valve (6) configured to allow the output of gas from inside the cylinder (2) upon the axial movement of the piston (3) in a second axial direction opposite to the first axial direction. The system comprises at least one actuator element (7), operatively associated with the admission valve (5), capable of keeping the admission valve (5) open when the electric motor (4) stops and starts-up.

  • Patent number: 7770694
Abstract: Resonator arrangement in an acoustic muffler for a refrigeration compressor having a shell (1), inside which is mounted an acoustic muffler comprising a hollow body (10) defining at least one dampening chamber (13), which carries a gas inlet duct (20) and a gas outlet duct (30), each presenting a respective length and having a respective wall thickness, at least one of the gas inlet and gas outlet ducts (20, 30) carrying, extending along at least part of its length, a respective plurality of tube type resonant ducts (40), each resonant duct (40) presenting a first end (41), open to the interior of the respective gas duct (20, 30) and a second end (42), opposed to and spaced from the first end (41), each said resonant duct (40) being dimensioned to present a determined length and a determined diameter, which are calculated to define a certain reactive impedance and a certain dissipative impedance for the acoustic muffler, in a determined frequency band.

  • Publication number: 20100095698
Abstract: The invention refers to a resonator arrangement for the cabinet of a refrigeration appliance, said cabinet defining a housing and carrying, in the latter, a compressor presenting a hermetic casing and a defrost water evaporating tray comprising: a bottom wall, to be seated onto an upper portion of the casing of the compressor; and a peripheral wall superiorly projecting from the bottom wall, at least one of the peripheral wall and bottom wall of the evaporating tray carrying a noise absorbing means turned to a noise generation region in said housing and being dimensioned to define a certain reactive impedance and a certain dissipative impedance in the medium of the housing for a determined frequency band.
