    Abstract: Gutter devices for keeping debris out of a gutter are disclosed. The gutter devices may include more than one mode of permitting water to enter into the gutter. A first mode is a plurality of holes disposed in the gutter protection device. A second mode is a bend at a lower end of the gutter protection device, permitting water to flow around the bend and into the gutter. The gutter protection device may further include a bend in its upper portion, corresponding to the pitch of a roof. The openings in the gutter device may be substantially vertical or formed by creating a depression in the surface of the gutter protection device.
