  • Publication number: 20230381554
Abstract: A magnetic quick connect for a fluid delivery system includes a male coupling member and a female coupling member. The male coupling member defines a first outer fluid communication path and includes a first magnetic material. A first inner member is disposed within the first outer fluid communication path and defines a first inner communication path. The female coupling member defines a second outer fluid communication path and includes a second magnetic material. A second inner member is disposed within the second outer fluid communication path and defines a second inner communication path. The male and female coupling members are detachably held together by an attractive force between the first and second magnetic materials such that the first and second outer communication paths are held in fluid communication, and the first and second inner communication paths are held in fluid communication.

  • Publication number: 20220026000
Abstract: A hydration system including a fluid reservoir, a fluid path in communication with the reservoir, and a magnetic quick connect interposed in the fluid path is disclosed. A fluid delivery system for a hydration system is also disclosed that includes a magnetic quick connect interposed in a fluid delivery path of the delivery system. The magnetic quick connect can also be used in a wide variety of fluid delivery systems. A kit for forming a fluid delivery system for a hydration system is also disclosed, as are various components of a hydration system.

  • Patent number: 7287285
Abstract: A glove structure that incorporates a palm piece having a portion that rolls over the fingertips and is sewn to the top portion of the back piece thus eliminating the conventional thick seam lines on the fingertips and resulting in a smooth seam of material over the entire fingertip and a substantial increase in finger tactility. The palm material narrows as it rolls over the fingertip and preferably has the shape of an hourglass.

  • Publication number: 20040050603
Abstract: A member for mounting a portable power tool to a vehicle, the mounting member comprising a bracket mounted to the vehicle, a collar member integral with the bracket adapted to engage a portion of said tool and position it at an angle to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle, and a member for removably holding the power tool in position on the bracket. When mounted, the power tool engages a rotatable shaft, the shaft in turn being coupled to the driven wheel of the vehicle through a gearing system. The rotational speed of the shaft, and thus the speed of the vehicle, is controlled by the vehicle driver using a remotely mounted hand control. The vehicle has a free wheel assembly, enabling the vehicle to move even when power is not applied to the power tool.

  • Patent number: 5551901
Abstract: A buoyant device used as a marker in the water for use in water sports is disclosed. The buoyant device comprises an inflatable buoyant member having one end coupled to an elastic cord which is coupled to an accompanying anchoring bag that is weighted down. The overall length of the elastic cord is varied according to the depth of the water with a self-locking length adjusting device used to vary the overall length of the elastic cord to eliminate any slack in the elastic cord in shallow waters in which the depth is less than the overall length of the elastic cord and when water currents change.

  • Patent number: 4928954
Abstract: A novelty item comprising a plush figure, such as half of a cat, having a flexible band of material attached at one end to the figure and at its other end to a hollow tube. During use, the hollow tube is placed within the trunk of a vehicle, and closed on the band, leaving a portion of the band and plush figure outside of the trunk. This gives the comical appearance that a full animal had been closed in the trunk and squashed.
