Each has a spherical depression in confrontation to define a space. A ball is in the space. The cups being affixed to each other by an elastic annular casing. The casing being held to each of the cups by a band.

Abstract: Sitting or reclining furniture with an upper and a lower part that can move relative to each other. The upper part is suspended so as to be able to oscillate on the lower part and at least two sets of ropes are arranged functionally in series. One set of ropes is suspended by way of bridge pieces and an approximately gallows-like frame. The bridge pieces are, in turn, joined to each other through the frame.

Abstract: A pendulum for suspending a swinging article from a support structure includes an elongated core having longitudinal ends, enlarged tension heads disposed on each of the longitudinal ends and operable to be engaged and supported by the article and the support structure, a plurality of stiff toroidal elements strung on the elongated core, one of the toroidal elements being a first end toroidal element which is spaced from one of the tension heads, another of the toroidal elements being a second toroidal element which is spaced from the other of the tension heads.
