  • Patent number: 10896333
Abstract: The method of assisting driving a vehicle includes constructing a digital model defining a quality index for a 3D inference image derived from an original image, the index being a function of similarity metrics defined between the original image and the 3D inference image, the construction making use of a set of observations obtained from reference 3D inference images resulting from applying 3D inference methods to a plurality of reference original images, these observations including measured values for 3D information represented on the reference 3D inference images; acquiring a first image of a three-dimensional scene that might have an influence on the driving of the vehicle; generating a 3D inference second image from the first image; estimating similarity metrics between the first and second images; evaluating the quality index for the second image by using the digital model and the estimated similarity metrics; and as a function of the quality index as estimated, a step of using the second image to assi

  • Publication number: 20200112792
Abstract: A passive cooling device is disclosed for use with a speaker integrated electronic device. Also disclosed is a method of using the device for generating passive cooling and increasing the sound output by the speaker integrated electronic device when outputting low frequency sound. The electronic device has an internal housing in which the speaker is located with a diaphragm extending through a void in the housing wall. The internal housing also has an air flow channel in fluid communication with the housing interior and an outlet adjacent an electronic component. Movement of the diaphragm directs moving air through the channel to reduce the operating temperature of the electronic component during speaker activation, while air movement in the internal housing increase the sound output by the speaker integrated electronic device.

  • Patent number: 9394095
Abstract: A transaction product assembly includes a perimeter frame defining a footprint, a plurality of parts maintained within the footprint of the perimeter frame, a transaction card, and a plurality of sprues. The transaction card includes a machine-readable account identifier linking the transaction card to an account or record, wherein the transaction card is maintained within the footprint of the perimeter frame. The plurality of sprues extend between the perimeter frame, the plurality of parts, and the transaction card to hold perimeter frame, the plurality of parts, and the transaction card together as a single piece. Areas within the footprint of the perimeter frame other than the plurality of parts, the transaction card, and the plurality of sprues remain substantially open and free of material.
