  • Patent number: 11945652
Abstract: Automated, environmentally monitored and controlled storage units and systems for storing, monitoring, and maintaining a supply of products, particularly temperature sensitive pharmaceutical and/or other high-value products, be they temperature sensitive or not. Such automated storage units contain an array of independently addressable holding locations for containers with product in one or more environmentally monitored (e.g., for temperature, humidity, etc.) and controlled zones fitted with appropriate environmental sensors. In preferred embodiments, the automated storage units also include a reader to track product information and status. Product loading, retrieval, and movement within such automated storage units is performed by a computer-controlled robot. A user interface device, preferably in communication with an application service provider to provide remotely managed inventory management and other services, provides users with inventory- and product-specific information.

  • Patent number: 9922734
Abstract: A system and a method for a passive containment vent system for a Boiling Water Reactor (BWR). The system is capable of venting and scrubbing a gaseous discharge from the primary containment of the BWR over a prolonged period of time leading up to or following a serious plant accident, without the need for monitoring by on-site plant personnel. External electrical power is not required (following initial activation of the system) in order to operate the containment vent system. The system may protect the integrity of primary containment during and following the serious plant accident.

  • Patent number: 5161460
Abstract: A multiple screen printing apparatus is disclosed which can be manufactured to loose manufacturing tolerances but yet can print "all screens-down" with accurate and repeatable registration. The registration is a result of having two complementary components for both distance and angular registration which are located near the printing end of the apparatus. The apparatus includes a spring biased loose carrying connection that causes the registration components to seat accurately with one another as the screen is brought into engagement with the workpiece.

  • Patent number: 5011358
Abstract: A device for indicating the height of the fork of a fork lift truck relative to a home position is set forth. The device includes a controller which compares programmed store and retrieve heights for various shelves in a warehouse with the current height of the fork. A display visible to the operator includes a first display device which indicates the fork is adjacent a particular shelf and is within a predetermined range encompassing the store and retrieve heights of that shelf. A second display device indicates when the fork is at or within a predetermined range of the store or retrieve height for the shelf.

  • Patent number: 4974508
Abstract: A multiple screen printing apparatus for multiple simultaneous printing in which the screen printing carrier head and the platen carrier head are indexed and locked together when the printing screens are down so as to provide precise registration. This indexing and locking arrangement resists degradation of the screen's registration during normal field use. Also, the apparatus has a precise microregistration adjustment system that permits adjustment of the printing screen attachment or screen clamping member relative to the screen carrier head by a controlled and guided adjustment movement in a single plane between a clamping plate and base member. This arrangement provides a coplanar locking so that no movement of the registration occurs during the clamping action.
